Why would you leave all the other cars and buy Nissan Note? Well, practically nothing, unless you read this review first. One thing that I will tell you beforehand is that if you are looking for an overly stylish or the trendiest car, you had better move on. Note is not for you. This car is made for practicality and functionality. In the range of the modern multipurpose vans, this is not the trendiest urban cool van, but it does compensate for that in terms of a very economical engine and huge amounts of space. If you love simplicity and a lot of functionality, then this is your ideal car.
So, what great features should you look forward in this minivan? First, there is the all-inclusive safety shield all round vision system that allows you to see all sides and the back as you park. Thanks to the tailgate camera that covers a wide angle and which by the way has its own automatic jet cleaning and water spray system, you will be warned of blindspots in time as well as be able to detect moving objects. Perhaps the parking assistance is great for old folks, but you can be assured that this car is awesome for just about everyone. It is great for moms who have a lot on their mind all the time.
The engine is very economical, with start-stop technology incorporated. It has a 1.2 liter engine (DIG) Petrol, but I hear there is a bigger 1.5 liter dCi diesel engine. The petrol engine can pump out a very impressive 27 kilometers per liter. That is amazing fuel economy. The diesel engine can give you 33.5 kilometers per liter, also very impressive indeed. The inbuilt eco mode will encourage the driver to drive easily and smoothly to save more on fuel.
This car has amazing space. The back seats have a sliding rail so that they can be pushed back to accommodate taller people. The windows are large, giving the van an airy feel. A large 437 liter boot will allow you to carry just about anything. The rear seats are also foldable and therefore you can carry even double what the boot allows.
How does Note drive
This is one of the Nissan winners here. There is no body roll to worry about but if you push it hard, it might under steer. One more thing for you to note is that this car is a bit long on the wheelbase and low to the ground. It is a very comfortable car to drive.
The lane departure warning system will keep you safe when driving. In addition, the rear view camera works under all conditions. The advanced system for fast moving objects alerts the driver of pedestrians crossing the road. Of many small MPVs in the market today, there is little doubt that Nissan Note is the safest of all.
Going by the Renault Modus after which it is modeled, the Note is many times better as it is cheaper, more beautiful and handles herself better.
