In Traffic, Drag Your Back Brake for Better Balance
Riding a motorcycle through traffic at lower speed is one of the most difficult tasks for the riders. Dragging the back brake smoothens out power delivery hence preparing one for an emergency stop. Also, the rider should continue pushing the front end thus reducing bouncing of the bike maintain the balance because at times bouncing will end up causing side- to- side movements. Forget the Clutch for Upshifts

Just sneak your toe under the lever and apply a little upward pressure. Quickly close the throttle a little while keeping that upward pressure on the shift lever, feel the gear slip home, and open it back up.

Carefully, when approaching a sharp corner in the absence of visual reference, simply look at the horizon point where the two sides of the road appear to be converging. If at all the distance is far from you, the corner is continuous at a constant radius, and if it is moving towards you the corner is generally tightening. If it is moving away from you, the corner opens up and the rider can continue accelerating.
Blip the Throttle to Make Downshifts Smoother
Probably the rider should engage a lower gear when braking, letting the clutch out quickly here the engine struggles to maintain the rear tire’s speed. The rider should downshift immediately to lock the rear tire because of the engine’s compression. By doing this, it limits how a rider can overcome a sharp corner by managing the top speed and decreasing the rear wheel traction when turning.
Trail Brake for Faster, Safer Cornering
Considerably, the motorcycle rider should apply the back brakes to slow down. By doing this, it is compressing the front suspension and shifting the weight on to front tire and increasing its grip.
